So I big puffy heart my normal stylist but she's quite literally on the other side of the county from me and I'm tired of driving all the way over there. So now I'm looking for a good stylist (for cut and highlight) in the downtown area or farther west. I would go as far east as Fashion Square. Also, it is preferable that he or she doesn't charge a bajillion dollars for his or her services

(I tried calling the stylist who did my hair for my wedding but she doesn't work in the salon anymore. Boo.)

mine is awesome, but she is in winter park.

i used to go to a great guy named Darrin at Salon Sanfilipo in the downtown area. he is seriously awesome, but i hate driving near downtown so when their salon moved from winter park i found a different salon!

I got to Gina Lutz (love her) at Forte Salon... it is in the RDV Sports plex off Maitland Blvd.  I get a full foil, something called smudging, and hair cut and it is like $140.  If you wanna give her a try I have a $25 off coupon for newbies :-)

Before she foils my hair she smudges something on my roots and it lightens my roots a couple shades so after she highlights my hair the hair that isn't foiled and the hair between my foils isn't as noticeable.  Makes it look more natural and not streaky

I can't recommend Myrna from Nube Nove (Thornton Park) enough!  She's been my stylist for going on 6 years now and I absolutely love her.  I barely even have to tell her what I want anymore ... she even lets me know when it's time to go darker or lighter.
