Uplighting price

Hello Ladies,

I am interested in having uplighting for my reception but my FI feels its a waste of money. I just love the look and ambiance of the rooms when there is uplighting. I want it but I dont want to pay thousands of dollars for this because we are on a budget. Does anyone know of anywhere that has good prices for uplighting? if so, what are the prices? Do not want to spend over $500 for this.

    I'm going through Dj Shane. He has been referred to me from other friends of mine that have used him for dj/uplighting. Also, the company doing our piping & draping also suggested him. I believe he charges $330 for 10 "cans".  Hope that helps. :)

    thanx karla&ryno...i already have a dj, but he doesnt have that equipment. I am going to contact him though to see what his price is for only uplighting.

    sometimes florist have this stuff too.  I was quoted with my DJ at $25 a can.  Check out local venders on wedding wire, the knot and other review sites.

    I have spoken with Tagas and Soundwave for DJ & Lighting. They both seem pretty reasonable and very nice =) We have booked with Soundwave
