I would like to give HUGE KUDOS to Ms Jenna Michele Shumate for her AMAZING pictures that she took of our wedding day.  She actually came with the photographer I had originally hired which I had no problem with at all and after seeing the pictures she took, I'm completely grateful she was there!!  The shots she captured blew me away! She has such a fantastic 'eye' for detail and doesn't just do the usual 'wedding poses' - she makes things fun and funky.  She was even a great help during the whole 'hustle and bustle' before and during the wedding and I appreciated everything she did.  I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and will be since I have a few friends on their path to getting married as well

I posted a recommendation for Jenna Michele Photography.  This thread was brought to my attention by another friend.  I'm married now.  I've been married since 2007.  I do not frequent The Knot message boards being that I am not planning a wedding anymore.  I am now on The Bump because I just had a baby in July.  I posted a review of JMP because I just hired her to do my Newborn pictures.  I decided to post here as well since she did m wedding pictures back in 2007.  She also did my engagement, anniversary, and maternity shots so I thought the least I could do was refer her to other women looking vendors.

What is so suspicious, peculiar, or wrong about recommending an honest vendor?

Needless to say my clients won't be asked to post on this site (by me at least) at all. It seems to create a negative effect when the idea of the site was for people to comment on a vendor in order to help others (and yes, to help vendors they like). Rather not have the drama, personally. That said, I still hope you have awesome weddings and the planning goes well. Toodles.
