Passport?? Where to get it and how long does it take?

FH and I changed our honeymoon destination from Hawaii to Spain!! But neither of us has a passport. We have 6 month until the wedding. If we get it now is that enough time? How long do they usually take to get back?

A friend of mine said its faster to get it through the post office? Anyone of you get yours through there?

You can get all the info here:

We got ours though a local processing center since they took our picture there as well. I know a ton of people who have gone through the post office though. You should be fine without having to pay any rush fee. We had to pay a rush fee but we needed it in a month.

I got mine through the post office but I took my picture at Walgreens. I had one previously and just recently had to get it renewed. I needed it within like 2 months and I was contemplating doing the rush fee but others recommended not to. I got it back within 2 weeks! I don't know if it was just because I was renewing it or what, but with 6 months you should have plenty of time.
