The Bella Collina

Has anyone looked at this site or had a reception here? If so what was your expeirence?  It is out in the Apopka area, but I wonder how far out of a drive it would be from Altamonte Springs, I've never been out there.


Thanks for all your help ladies as I try to navigate through this planning your advice and vendor reviews are priceless!

    Someone recently posted asking about Bella Collina, you should be able to find a few comments there. It's definitely a far drive from Altamonte, it's in Monte Verde, at least 45 minutes I'd say. Google map it :)

    yeah I relooked at the map it does seem pretty far. I don't want my guests to have to drive too far to the reception from the church. It looks very beautiful though.

    Have you looked at Highland Manor?  It is also in Apopka but much closer to ANnunciation.  Probably about twenty minutes away.  It is a beautiful historic house and they have really good pricing there.  Check it out.

    I second Highland House it is gorgeous and easy to get to from Annunciation.

    I am not sure how far it is as I live about 20 mins from there.... we went and took a look at it and it is beautiful but their prices are so high... I just recieved a price quote today and pretty bummed about it because my fiance and I are both italian and we love the tuscany feel and small world charm this place has but depending on how many guest you have, the average running rate would be about $20,000 for the venue rental, food, bar, table and chairs...... you would need to provide your own cake, decor and so on..... I am so bummed.... I had thought we really found a place finally but I just can't seem to get over the food and bar prices!  I have compared them to the higher end venues and caterers in the area and they are by far the most expensive!     Alison-- have you tried asking telling them your budget and how much you are willing to spend? That may help!

    I found out it is about a 45 min. drive from annunciation. About 30 miles, is that too far to make your guest drive? 20,000 is really steep, but does include food, so guessing they have a chef on staff.
