Need wedding venue

Hello everyone,

My fiance and I really want to get married on 11/12/11, but we're having trouble finding an available venue that is close enough to my parents and the church that we have picked out. Can anyone suggest some wedding reception venues in the Sanford, Lake Mary, Deland, Orange Cite, and Debary areas? We are especially interested in something that's not a hotel or country club...although I know that that is hard to find.

    I have heard great things about the Winter Park Civic Center and the Lake Mary Events Center..GL!

    I 2nd Lake Mary Events Center. It books really quickly but they might have your date since you are still a year and half away.

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but LMEC is booked that day.  I do happen to know they currently have all Sundays open in November 2011.  The only Saturday they have is 11/19/11.  I know this because I called them yesterday and asked.  =(

    Yeah, I told her about LMEC but they are booked on that date.  :(  I just wanted to say hey and I'm glad you are now on the knot!!! You will love it here!  :)

    You should make a separate post to introduce yourself to everyone.  :)

    I was going to suggest the Longwood Event Center as well. I've been to a handful of events there and it's nice.

    Thanks, everyone for the advice. It's true, the LMEC is booked for our date!

    My fiance and I do want to check out the Stetson Mansion, though weather might be an issue because the wedding would have to be outside in a tent...but we're willng to consider it. I have to look into all of these other suggestions.
