Advice needed! Where has the BEST beach???

My fiance and I are getting married 10/5/13 and are looking to honeymoon for a 7 days right after.
Here is what we are looking for:

-AMAZING BEACH. We would like a beach with beautiful water and gorgeous sand. That is our #1 priority.
-Somewhere where it feels not so crowded. A bit more romantic, relaxed feel if possible.
-We'd like to find a room as close to the beach as possible
-We figured Carribbean would be the best bet for our budget of $4k - $5k, am I right?

The only place we don't want to go is to Jamaica as I've been there multiple times.

ARUBA! Bucuti Beach Resort
Adult only, right on the beach, and it's out of hurricane areas. We are going there in June but I've only read great things about it!

We went to Bermuda and stayed at The Reefs.  They have their own private beach.  In October, the highs are still in the 80s.  I thought the beaches were beautiful.  Here's the view from our room:




There are plenty of public beaches and privates beaches associated with hotels there.  They all are some variation of that blue/green water and pink sand posted above.

Probably not exotic enough for you, but I actually think Seaside Florida and Santa Rosa beach in the FL panhandle have some of the best beaches.  They are truly private - as in you can rent a house or condo and nobody is allowed on the beach except you and neighbors.  One of FI's groomsmen has a house down there, and when it's not being rented out we'll go for 4 or 5 days at a time.  I've never seen more than 12 people on the beach at one time, and we've done it many many times.  Usually we are the only ones for as far as we can see.  The water is very warm and calm because it's the gulf, the sand is soft, and there are almost no creatures to watch out for.  In October you two would probably be the only ones around since tourist season is over.  BTW Seaside is where they filmed the Truman show - it really does look like that.

But like I said, probably not exotic for you, and nobody to serve you cocktails.  With that budget though you could get into one of the private neighborhoods and eat at some incredible (pricey) restaurants that will have vastly better food than AIs.  If FI and I hadn't done it so many times we would have chosen that.

Oh and the trick to Seaside and Santa Rosa beach is to stay outside of the towns.  Both are bicycle communities and you can bike or drive in for shopping, eating etc.    But the best beaches and the truly private ones are two or three miles outside of the towns, which have far more people.

We went to Turks and Caicos on our honeymoon this past October, and it definitely fits what you're looking for.  What we paid (and all-inclusive at that) was within your budget.  The  beaches are beautiful, and the island just has a relaxed vibe.

Check out Grand Case in St. Martin. We went in early October 2011 and were one of 3 couples on the beach most days. It was truly unreal. We went back a little later in October 2012 and it was still practically empty.

We liked being on the second floor to have the balcony, but many people enjoy a ground floor room where they can walk right out the sliding glass door to the beach. This was the view from our room last year when we stayed at the Sun Palace in Cancun.  I'd recommend it.  It's under your budget, an AI, adults only.

Anguilla!  Best beaches I've ever seen in my life & not crowded at all.  However, the resorts there (Cap Juluca) can be expensive.

Maroma Beach is rated on some sites at the top 10 in the world; and it's well within your budget. I recommend Secrets Maroma Beach. We HMed there and loved it

Thank you all for your GREAT advice. I really can't explain how much I appreciate it!!!!

Right now we are investigating Maroma Beach in Mexico. I really like the fact that I've read it is a bit quieter and more quaint, but still gorgeous waters.

Our original thought was Exuma island off the Bahamas but I'm not quite sure how I feel about the Sandals there. 

Turks and Caicos sounds perfect for us but I can't find any adults only resorts there. 

I'll keep you all posted on where we pick! And again, feel free to keep adding suggestions

UPDATE....

We thought we had narrowed it down to Secrets Maroma Beach. We liked the room options available and had heard the beach is amazing (our main goal). But then our travel agent said we should look into Punta Cana for the amazing beaches there too. So now we are kinda wondering.... We want a room with an ocean view (not oceanfront, as that would likely put us above budget). 

We just really want to make sure we are picking somewhere that we can have our dream honeymoon ocean view room WITH a beautiful beach.

Again, advice is always appreicated!
