head table or sweet heart table?

Which one are you doing and why? Or do you have another idea?

    Sweet Heart.

Only because every in our party on both sides (bridesmaids and groomsmen) have significant others so I don't want them to be at a head table and their bf/gf's out in the crowd at some other table. And I don't want some HUGE head table with all of them either because that would just look off. I am allowing bridal party to sit where they please with their dates. Hubby and I will have our table. Plus I doubt we will be sitting much bc we will be walking around greeting guests and dancing, enjoying ourselves, etc.

We did a sweetheart table. We wanted significant others of our bridal party to be able to sit with them at the wedding. We also liked the idea of just sitting with the two of us, for the time we were seated {which wasn't a lot AT ALL}, it was nice and private.

We're doing a head table....or, a twist on the head table....

We have a small party anyways, me and FI, his brother, and my sister...that's it! And since its so small, we're just allowing their significant others to sit with them at the head table =) So, it'll be the 6 of us...a little different than what's usual, but oh well! Works for us!

I was struggling with this because I wanted a head table but there was no easy way to do a head table without leaving people out.  FI's dad is in the wedding and that would have left his step-mom and half sister at a table with people they didn't know.  After speaking to our caterer she suggested modified head table, basically two long rectangular tables put together to almost form a square table that would sit around 20 people so that way we could have us, the wp, their significant others and include FI's step-mom and sister all at the same table.

I think this is going to work the best for us!

I did a head table. I always wanted one and I didn't want to sit by myself.  There were three dates who sat together at a table very close to the head table.  Everyone else was single.

We just had two round tables, just like the guest tables. I sat with his and my immediate family (my siblings were in the wedding party and there guests sat with us too) and the rest of the wedding party sat at the table next to us. It worked out really well since everyone got to sit with the ppl they most wanted to.

I want a head table. My MOH is the only one with a significant other that would feel awkward not sitting next to her (I don't want to give him the burden of sitting with my parents!), so I've already told her he can sit with us there. :-P

Sweetheart. We wanted some privacy and our BP table was filled. We really enjoyed the intimacy, but we really didn't spend much time there once the music started! :]
