 I haven't been here for long so I just thought it'd be nice to get to know everyone.

    I am new here so I thought this might be a good way to introduce myself!
    What your name/age? I am Lisa and I'm 34
    Fiances names/age? Dave is 42
    We are both English and are planning our wedding in Cetral Florida from the UK.
    What do you both do for a living? I run my own ski holiday company and Dave is a IT Consultant/Programme Manager
    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story! We met at work (Dave supplied the PCs to the company I worked for as the PA for the IT Director). We have been together for almost 13 years and decided to get married earlier this year after lots of discussions as I am a bit of a commitmentphobe!  Dave suprprised me with a ring by the River Thames in London on his birthday in July.
    When is your weddind date?  Nothing booked yet but the wedding will be next October during the school holidays as we have friends with children and family that are teachers and would like as many people to come as possible from the UK so likely to be 25th/26th October.  We are visiting Florida this October and hope to book a venue then.
    What are your wedding colors/ theme?  Not 100% sure but leaning towards Coral and Navy Blue.

    What do you both do for a living? I work as a leasing specialist for a national real estate development and management company.  Dan just finished law school, took the Maryland Bar, and had been excepted to the State Departments as an Foreign Service Officer.

    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story! We have been together almost 4 years now. We met at a club/bar called Yanni's across the street from Florida Sate University were we both attended. My friends and his friends had been hanging out and dancing together and when Dan walked up his friend pushed him toward me and told him to dance with me. We've pretty much been together ever since, after convincing me I should jump into another relationship since at the time I didn't want one haha. 

    Dan proposed to me on his birthday in Georgetown (We live in the DC metro area now) at one our favorite Italian restuarants after we had a beautiful meal together. He said me saying yes to marrying him was the best present I could give him and he knew it was truly the only way he could surprise me (since we have been discusing getting married a long time).

    What do you both do for a living? He's a graphic designer and I'm a copywriter

    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story!  Well, Leon and I have been together for 5 years now. We meet at a Disney Lifeguard party when I was down here on an internship. That night we stayed up till the sun rose talking on our phones about everything and anything. From that night on we've pretty much been inseparable.

    Our proposal story was sweet. I grew up in North Dakota, so winter has always been my favorite season. While vacationing with my family he proposed to me outside in the snow on Christmas Eve ( my family celebrates on Christmas Eve) . It was perfect we went for a walk to look at the snow and lights. While we were walking I turned around and thought he had fallen, so I was trying to pull him up while he was trying to pull out my ring. He pulled out my ring and asked if I would marry him surrounded by such beautiful weather, it was like being on a movie set. My proposal was everything I could have ever dreamed of. 

    When is your weddind date? Of course it's in December :) 12/11/10

    What are your wedding colors/ theme? Silvers, whites and ice blues

    We're having the ceremony in Loch Haven Park and the reception to follow on the SunTrust Terrace @ the Orlando Science Center

    What do you both do for a living? We're both in our senior years of college, but I'm a professional cellist/music business major, and he's in a pre-med program.  Unfortunately, we've both been living in different states since we started school.
    How did you meet? We met each other when we were 13 in the local youth orchestra, and we became a couple when we were 16.

    What do you both do for a living? I help people become police officers and he installs/designs audio and video systems
    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story!  We met through a mutual friend and were friends for about a year before we started dating. We're getting married on our 6th anniversary. He proposed at Lake Eola in January. I had NO idea- VERY RARE. I was informed that it took an entire team to pull off the secret, including getting me OUT OF THE COUNTRY so that he could order the ring. Needless to say, I'm a huge snoop.

    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story!  We met playing softball, in August 07 but didnt start dating until March. He proposed at Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales during Boktoberfest.  October 17, 2009. We had designed my ring a few weeks before and brought it home, so I knew it was coming just didn't know when.

    We met at work.  I was actually hired to backfill his open position when he moved to another team.  (We don't still work at the same company).  We met in 06 but didn't start dating until 08.

    He proposed on a Friday night at home while we were watching tv.  I didn't know he was even planning to propose.

    -Jessi 23 (I am 22 but my birthday is the 28th of this month)

    Fiances names/age?
    -James 24

    What do you both do for a living?
    -I am a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. I do Ultrasounds! =) I work at Florida Hospital Altamonte Medical Plaza, Florida Hospital Altamonte, and Florida Radiology Imaging in Lake Mary

    -James is a Financial Advisor/Stock Broker working at a firm in Altamonte Springs

    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story!

    -We met when we both went to Seminole Community College. In our College Algebra class back in 2006. We have been together for over 4 years.
    -He proposed to me onstage in front of tons of ppl at the Makahiki Luau Dinner Show at Sea World's Sea Fire Inn. It was also on my birthday last year and I had NO idea. Quite the surprise =)

    What do you both do for a living? FI is finishing his bachelors and will start PA school next year. I'll graduate as a RN in december and will work in labor in delivery and will go on to get my masters!

    When is your weddind date? We've been together for a little over 8 years. We met in middle schoole and started dating in 2002 in the 8th grade. We've been together ever since and he proposed July 16th 2010. We're getting married at the Buena Vista Palace (where he proposed) on June 11, 2011.

    What are your wedding colors/ theme? Our wedding colors are pink and green and the theme is: "A Perfect Pair"

    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story! We met at a great local sandwich shop a little over 2 years ago. We've been together ever since that first grilled cheese! Last month I was having an incredibly bad start to the day and was on the verge of tears. Next thing I knew, Matt was down on one knee asking me to marry him. He really knows how to make a bad day MUCH better!

    What do you both do for a living? I am graduating with my bachelors in health science this year and will pursue a job in pharma/medical sales or go for an accelerated Nursing degree to become a nurse practioner. He is a physical therapist and athletic trainer.
    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story! We met on match.com, and there were fireworks from the start. he proposed 10 months later while we were vacationing in west palm.
    When is your weddind date? Not sure yet. Latest date is spring 2012.  Earliest is June 2011.

    What are your wedding colors/ theme? Potential colors are teal and tangerine

    What do you both do for a living? I'm a financial aid counselor at an online university, and Mig is a corporate trainer we work at the same place but never see each other LOL
    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story!
    When is your wedding date? We met at a summer camp 5 years ago. He did all the lighting and sound for the theatre program and i was a camp counselor for the little girls. We have been together 5 years. He proposed on our 5th anniversary on the fourth of July at Normans in the JW Marriott. ( I had no idea LOL) We haven't booked anywhere but we really want to get married on Thanksgiving weekend 2011
    What are your wedding colors/ theme? We are still deciding I like classic purple Ivory and silver he likes purple and gold ( his frat colors) we will see who wins)

    What do you both do for a living? I am an Assistant Transaction Mgr and he is an Corporate Account Manager at the same company, we are currently outside of Boston.  Somehow this is the 4th company we have worked at together, although never planned.
    How did you meet/ How long you've been together/ and-or/ Your Proposal story!
    We met at a show at Will's Pub, I went out that night hoping to "kiss" a guy, kissed him, still kissing him 8 years later.  Together for 8, engaged for almost 4...busy moving cross country 2 times in 4 months, then his mom passed away after getting engaged.....finally getting hitched this year!
    When is your wedding date? Getting married on 12/01/10 in Jamaica, just the 2 of us.....reception in FL on 12/11/10, reception in PA the next April or May.
    What are your wedding colors/ theme? Snowflakes, colors are blue, silver and a touch of purple.....so I can change into a cute purple dress before dancing
