Cake tasting

I'm dissapointed about our first cake tasting to top it off my FI liked the place. This was our first time and all the cakes were dry and the frosting was terrible. We have one more tomorrow and I hope it goes a lot better.

I have to say when we did our cake tasting at Bake me a cake I was very upset..   We have had their cupcakes many times and they were awesome..   what they gave us to taste at our tasting SUCKED!   I think what it ended up being is that, it was made a while ago?! and or sat out a while waitting for us..   
We ended up going with them and we were were thrilled with them.
I had to take my gut feeling that it would all turn out okay basied on what we had gotten from them before.

I haven't had luck with cake either, so we decided to ditch the cake idea and go with pies. We have a friend who is a baker and she makes the best pies ever. Berry & lavender cream pie will be our main pie. So delicious! I'd suggest looking into other options if you aren't pleased with this other cake either. Don't settle!

Well we found one we love!!! Party Flavors in Ocoee. I'm so excited. Not only do their cakes look great they taste amazing. I actually wanted to get more of one of the tasting cakes to go it was soooo good.

Party Flavors is awesome. They are doing my cake also. I mean, seriously amazing cake... and I'm a serious foodie.
