Recommendations for Wedding/Reception Locations in Central Florida

I am looking for recommendations on places in the Central Florida area to have my wedding ceremony and reception.  I would like a place where I can do both at.   My guest list will be between 100 - 200 people...Just recently got engaged and we will have along engagement, looking to get married May 2013 so right now I am just trying to get some ideas :)

Thanks in advance.

We are getting married at Paradise Cove. It's an outdoor venue for both ceremony and reception. paradisecoveorlando.com here is the website. It's an amazing place. A little pricey but we loved it so much that we knew that's where our wedding was going to be the moment we walked on their grounds.

We are getting married at the Lake Mary Event Center. Absolutely beautiful location, you can have an indoor or outdoor ceremony and the ball room is GORGEOUS.

I second Lake Mary Events Center. I, too, am getting married there.

What are you looking for in a venue? outdoors, indoors, style type?

I am getting married at my church but reception is held at Sheraton Orlando North Hotel in Maitland. I highly recomend it, it was recently re-done and is one the most beautiful hotels, was designed with Ralph Lauren.

So places I do recomend is: Lake Mary event center (books over 18 months in advance), The Ballroom at Church Street ($$$) downtown, Timacaun Golf Club (beautiful, under new management and is doing a great job), I have heard great things about the winter park farmers market building (beautiful/rustic) a lot of ladies on here use it.

Just depends on your budget and guest size.

There are just SO many, try using the TOOL for wedding venues that theknot provides. It's really helpful! What kind of things are you looking for?

I don't know your budget, but with LMEC... I'm saving THOUSANDS by having it on a Thursday instead of Friday/Saturday. Full building rental 8am-4:30pm (not including setup and breakdown) is only $800. Then just a few more hundred if you want an evening wedding. Really a steal!

We are also saving a little bit at the LMEC by having it on a sunday. The total was 2400 for 8 hours!

We're having ours at the Orlando Science Center.  I looked at every venue and this was was the most off the beat and different venue I could find.  It's fairly affordable and I'm able to have an outdoor ceremony/cocktail hour and indoor reception.
