Florist- Check!

After all the flower drama and meetings with FIVE florists, I signed a contract with InBloom today.

For those of you who recommended Lee Forrest, I loved him and his ideas, but not his price tag. I'll continue to fantasize about his work.

It feels really great to cross that one off of the list.

Next thing to tackle is my wedding band.... Custom Land, here I come!

Congrats!!!  I've been thinking of using  inBloom!  I'm still a year out so just sort of scoping things out and trying to figure out how much to buget.... if you had any insight I would really appreciate it!!

    Eka,

I really liked John and Sally with inBloom. all of the articles I read said to budget about 5% for flowers.  One of the reasons I picked inbloom was that they were able to add flowers to my design that I didnt think I could afford- mini calla lilies, orchids, etc. They were also VERY specific about their ideas. John actually took me into the cooler and started to put things together so that I could see what he was imagining.

Vicki with Peddles was very good, though I really think that she would be better for someone who knows EXACTLY what they want. I want to trust the florist to do their job. Give them some direction and let them be creative.

Though many of the girls here loved Debbie with Atmospheres, I had a HORRIBLE experience with her and wouldn't touch her with a 50 foot pole.

Lee Forrest is my dream florist, but was just too far out of my price range. If I had an unlimited budget, I would have signed him in a heartbeat.

Meet with a bunch of people and like your FI, you'll know when you've got the right one!
