Need help...

Hey Girls,

Ok...so here's my dilemma...it's not wedding oriented but it is directly related...

I'm looking for a job...central Florida area.  I just had to quit mine (long story), but with the wedding coming up, I cannot afford to go without a job for much longer than this week without hurting our budget and my everyday finances.  Anyone have any ideas?  I'm looking for administrator, assistant, receptionist, child care...i can do it all.  I've been a personal assistant and an administrator for a while.  I've applied at resorts in the area...

Just need some ideas and you girls are always on top of things!  I'm in the Davenport area, btw.

I have no idea where Davenport is but the on line schools seem to hiring all the time for admissions type work. Like University of Phoenix or Kaplan University (Kaplan is over in the Waterford Lakes area). Also, the car rental industry has a high turnover so they seem to be looking all the time too. Good Luck it's not easy out there!

Kaplan also has a site not that far away from you, near Lakeland. (Davenport is over in Polk County, btw.) I don't know that area, though, and generally avoid it at all costs cuz that's where my ex's family is, so I can't help very much, sorry!

Its kind of far for you, but I work at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal. We are just going into season and are getting the wake up call that we are WAY understaffed. They are hiring alot of people right now. If you go to www.loewshotels.com and click on the careers link at the bottom, it will show all the open jobs at the Hard Rock, Portofino, and Royal Pacific. Loews is a great company to work for. I've been there 3 and a half years. Good luck!
