hey gals - can you rec AI resorts in Mexico? 

also - is it too risky to go in mid-September b/c of possible hurricanes?  we are thinking of doing a mini-moon to mexico right after the wedding and switching our hawaii HM to december.

purchase trip insurance that covers you forweather related cancellation/interruption or cancel for any reason and there goes the hurricane issue.
the royal cancun, le blanc, the royal playa del carmen all get consistant reviews.
tripadvisor.com is a great resource for reviews and info.

Royal Playa Del Carmen. We leave tomorrow for a mini 3 night anniv. trip... I will post reviews Monday or Tuesday when we get back! I have heard AMAZING things about it though!

I would recommend the Palace Resorts, we went to the Sun Palace this September (20-27). It was actually a really good time to go. There weren't a lot of people there. It rained every day (about an hour), but was really nice the rest of the day. Plus, if you like turtles, they released baby sea turtles every night, can't to that any other time of the year. Get trip insurance if you're worried. We didn't, but we had the "were going to matter what" mindset.
