Reception Locations, HELP!!

We are looking to get married next March and are going to have the ceremony at our church. The church is at Fermosa and Par Street. However, we cant seem to find place to have the reception!! We don't want everyone to have to drive very far so something close to Winter Park/Downtown. We are looking for something that is indoors or has the option of both, indoor and outdoor. Both our Dads don't like heat and we cant predict the weather (hot/cold) so we want people to be able to go inside if it is hot. Most places we have looked at seem really expensive when you use their caterers. We are trying to get a base head count for budget ideas.

I am just starting to plan so any help is needed!

Thanks:)

Look at Dubsdread. They've got two rooms and a lovely patio/veranda area and they're on Par Street in College Park :)

I guess I am in a little sticker shock!! lol All these places look soo pretty has anyone visited Cypress Garden? They have a couple good reviews on Google and some bad ones. I guess the only way to know for sure is really talking with them, right?

Do you mean Cypress Grove? (Cypress Gardens, in Winter Haven, is no more.) Yes I've visted. It's not as pretty as I thought it would be, but I've seen photos where florists have done incredible things with the location, so I know it can be gorgeous. We didn't talk to their event people though, so I don't remember what the price is. The Farmer's Market is probably the most affordable of any of the options already mentioned, and I believe you can bring your own caterer, but you should ask blondebunny since she just got married there in January, or MLHarbis or Stardust who are getting married there soon. There's also the Winter Park Women's Club, but it's not as pretty as the other locations. Whitney could tell you more about Dubsdread than I could, but I believe she's said that their catering is pretty affordable as well. GL!

Cypress Grove was my first choice, until I started realizing how expensive it was going to be. Plus I wasn't excited about the inside option since it's a house and divided into rooms my guests wouldn't have been all together like I wanted.

Cant wait to look at some of these places. Once I settled down and read through the rental prices and catering menues things seemed a little more reasonable:) I guess I am becoming frugal just like my mom!! And afterall I am only getting married once, so I am going to splurge a little :-)
