Mii FIT!!!

Hey Girls!!!  SOOO...I have 1 month and 2 days to my wedding...or 39 days exact!  AHHHH!  I'm not sure if I should scream out of excitement or stress!?!  Anywho...I want to make sure I'm looking my best.  I've lost alot of weight in the last few months (almost 30 lbs in all)...but I want to be toned as well for my strapless gown...and also for the honeymoon.  And of course...SUMMER!  I thought about posting this in the "getting in shape" board, but I rarely lurk there, so I wanted to post here first since I'm close with you guys!  I'm looking for a challenge and accountability!  If anyone is interested please let me know!  Ideally I'd like myself and others to post what their personal challenge is, goal, weight they want to lose, whatever including their plan to meet their goal, then check in every few days.  We could create a day where everyone updates or even do it daily.  I personally would like it daily.  It would make me feel guilty if I don't do what I said I'm going to do, but I'm down for whatever.  Any accountability and encouragment is  beneficial!

Let me know if you're interested!  Either way...this is my plan...

I'm already to a good weight, a few more lbs would be ok but not necessary.  My key areas I want to work on...my stomach, thighs, and arms.  My plan is to do the Wii Fit Hula Hoop Everyday...starting with the 6 minutes one and then moving to the 10 minutes one by the end of the week.  I will also do 50 wall push ups and 50 squats everyday.  I figure if I start a small routine, the rest will be easy because once you start working out you might as well continue, right!  And if I'm pressed for time, all these exercises will take me less than 20 minutes and can be done at any time of day!

    on second thought...I will NOT be posting in the "getting in shape" board...Holy Sheet! (i believe that's the expression ;) )....Their accountability includes a rundown of their breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, ect.  No thank you!  Too much time consuming information, so Ya'll will just have to hear about my Mii Fit days regardless, lol!

    I'll do some Wii Hula Hoop with you!  That is one of my favorite things on that game!  FI thinks I look silly when I do it, but it's fun!  I'm wanting to lose some weight before the wedding too!  I've gained A LOT over the past couple of years

    I like the accountability thing! I need to remember to start doing wall push ups. I am going to do 50 wall push ups and squats everyday too (I like your idea) and tomorrow through friday I will fun 3 miles each day. I can never fit it in on Mondays.

    YAY for getting fit!!!  I will totally keep all of us accountable!  The Wii Hula kicks butt, or abs in this case!  When I first got it I did it minimum of 5 times a week...with a few weeks I could tell a huge difference in inches, and my stomache was flatter with those cool little lines.  I'm not looking for rock hard abs or a six pack, just a flat tummy, and after YEARS of crunches and sit ups...the Wii Hula Hoop is the only thing that ever actually worked...and it only take 6 to 10 minutes a day!  I've regained some of my "softness" as FI says...so it's back to swinging my hips in circles!!! lol

    hahaha ya I when I started back running I was laying out and FI told me that I had my abs back. I def lost them real quick but it made me mad at myself when he said "back"!

    I use to be a personal trainer at a gym in orlando and I am currently training for the Marine Corps... If you ladies have any questions, want encouragement, or a work out suggestion, I will be happy to help! I want everyone to look as good as they feel on their special day : )

    I would love to do this... I'm just lazy, don't have a Wii (but i would love one for the workouts), and don't know what to do as an exercise. I suck! hahah

    No Wii for me either. I actually can't stand to do stuff in front of the TV. I swear I have working out ADD.
    I take spin 3xs a week  and weights 2xs. After 13 weeks, my body has gotten use to the grueling schedule so I've added pilates 2xs a week and I'm trying the push up challenge. "Trying" meaning, I keep forgetting to do them. LOL.

    I want to do the hula hoop thing, too! We just got a Wii last week, so I'm going to look into buying it!  When I was little, I was always so jealous of the people who could move the hula hoop like from their ankle up to their neck and do all those tricks. Even on roller skates. lol
