Where to go?

Hello ladies. I hope all is well. I have a question and I hope you guys can help. My wedding is April and we're trying to find a place to go for the honeymoon that won't be too crowded with either college spring-breakers or families (mainly children). Any suggestions? Any will be greatly appreciated! I have been racking my brain for months and getting nowhere. Thanks in advance. Peace and love.

Re: Where to go?

  • What are you looking for? typical beach? mountains? adventure? sight-seeing? If you give some direction it will be easier to make suggestions :)

  • I agree it is easier to make suggestions if we know what you are looking for and an idea of budget--will this be an all-out splurge or honeymoon on a budget?

Just right off the bat, you saying no families or college kids makes me think "adults-only" resort. Most Sandals resorts are adults- or couples-only and this would eliminate the issue of kids and families. But beyond that, I'd need some more details to make suggestions.

  • Definitely give us an idea of what your budget is and what you're looking for in a HM and we will be able to give you some suggestions. The ladies here are fantastic =]
  • Sorry about that ladies. I was thinking something tropical and romantic and on a budget. I was thinking about Sandals. That just might be the route for us but not sure. Thanks again in advance.

Palace Resorts is also an all-inclusive brand that has 3 adult-only properties that are beautiful. IMO the quality is better than Sandals. It's tropical and romantic but there are also excursions that you can take directly from the resort for some adventure. Also, I've seen online that right now they have a $1,500 resort credit that you can use for things like the spa (couple massage??), golf if you're visiting one of their properties with a golf course, and the excursions.
