Questions: Cupcakes instead of Traditional Cake

Ok, so I read somewhere (probably on The Knot lol) that cupcakes are cheaper than doing a traditional wedding cake.  If that's the case then awesome, love the idea and it's super cute.  However, I'm wondering if any of you did the cupcakes instead of the traditional cake and how it worked out.  I'm going to have 200+ people at my wedding and I'm worried about having that many available for my guests.  Also, did your baker deliver them or did you have to pick them up?  And did you have to provide the stand or did they do that for you?  Soooo many questions!!  So, if any of you have done this, please explain how it all worked please and thank you!

We are doing cupcakes for our wedding and will be inviting 200+ guests too :)
We are using Sweet! by Good Golly Mis Holly. It's a shop located in Waterford Lakes (east Orlando). The cupcakes are so so yummy and they provide 3 sizes - minis, classic, and original. They can deliver and setup with a fee and they have stands to rent as well. The cupcakes come in so many flavors, but they will customize flavors, frosting colors, and even have options for cupcake decor. Hollis, the owner, was even on Cupcake Wars on the Food Network and won! So that's a great recommendation besdies mine!

If you have any other questions, you can message me or respond to this post. here's the website...http://www.sweetbyholly.com

    Hope this helps!

Cupcakes ended up being a good amount more expensive for me, so we didn't do cupcakes, but most places should deliver and I would assume they would have something generic to rent.

Personally, if they didn't deliver, I wouldn't use them. I don't want that responsibility, that's why I am paying you! But that's just me.

We are using Publix!! <3 them.
