Trust me...you'll have PLENTY of little things to do that will sneak up on you.  The more you have done, the more you can enjoy the little things!

I had most of everything done 6 months into our engagement with another 6 months of not a lot to do. You are going to change your mind a bunch of times so be thankful you have time left to do that. More time = less stress too, or at least it should. Ha Ha.

I feel ya on that. I was in the same exact boat. I had almost everything picked out and with a deposit (except the cake) many many months ago. It isn't too bad, but I did wish I had more to do. But now it is close and I feel like I have plenty going on. lol Maybe start thinking about the little details, like songs and what not.

We booked everything really early on(litearlly 10 months out we had all of the big stuff done and most of the little stuff booked) but something always comes up at the last minute anyway.
Be happy you have a lot done early because that's one less thing to worry about when it gets closer!
Also, like Erica said...you will change your mind quite a few times...so it's good to have things figured out now...so you know who you will be dealing with

Yeah no worries! We're in the same boat. I have my dress, our cake, DJ, venue, & invitations already. We know what photographer we want to use just need to book her. We also just need to find a florist. We aren't getting married until March of next year but Hey! We already have a lot of the big checks done. So be happy about that! That's a lot you've got accomplished already! Nice job!

Yes, get as much done now as you can!  There's always things that come up at the last minute to deal with. It was pretty bad at certain points for mine. I was so preoccupied with all those last minute things that I never would have though would happen.

I'm in the same boat now! We've got like 5 months left and we're done with all the major stuff, but now its all these little things that keep stressing me out!
