LMEC Question

Hey ladies! First off, yes, I could pick up the phone & call them myself to ask these questions. But I have pretty decent "phone anxiety" as I like to call it and sound like a bumbling mess when talking to strangers, so I figured I'd check here first to see if anyone knows. First, TACKY as it may be... I want my dog to be our ring bearer. We don't have any little boys in our family, and it may be the only way I'll be able to get my little sister (the flower girl) down the aisle without a fit. (she's a feisty one, but she LOVES this dog... so if she could walk him down the aisle it would make her the happiest girl in the world! LOL) Anyone know if dogs are allowed on the property for outdoor weddings? Obviously he won't be joining us for the reception, lol. Also, does anyone know if kegs are allowed? Again, tacky as it may be it's one way for us to save money over bottled beer. &&&& let the judgement about my tacky wedding commence. ;) lol

See, local boards are typically not too judgmental. lol. I have no idea about the dog, but I am using kegs for my wedding. I think it just depends on your caterer since they are the ones serving the drinks. I am getting kegs too since it is much cheaper. Email your caterer and ask them. GL!  :)

My caterer is cool with it, they said I needed to make sure LMEC was okay with it. Thanks!

We asked the same question about the dog! LMEC is one of very few venues that said yes. They are allowed outside, but not in the venue. If we decide to have our four legged flower girl, there are a few pet friendly hotels near by and a friend offered to be the "Sadie sitter" and drop her off at the hotel after the ceremony. Haven't officially decided to do this yet. I figured, she's like our kid and why am I going to ask someone to be in my ceremony just because they're the right age? I don't have any nieces or nephews and most of my young cousins are far away. I'm just not quite sure I want to deal with all the logistics. Of course, that's a perfect opp to show her pic!
