Melbourne Florida

Hey guys, I'm an east coast bride. I've been trying to find a good ceremony/reception site.
I live in Melbourne, Florida and I really don't want to have to go all the way to Orlando to get married. I'm thinking Veria, Cocoa, Melbourne, Palm Bay, Vero.
If you have any suggestions of wedding spots or any ideas on how I might be able to find some places please comment! I'm freaking out!
I want an outdoor Cermony with an indoor reception cite.

Most of the VFWs , moose lodges and KOC all have indoor and an outfoor location. Theres  a few community centers on Minton rd that are nice. The best deal I have found is the Greater Palm Bay Senior Center. Thats the location we chose and they have a park across the street.

Were not going over 100 people. Thank you so much for your ideas! I'm going to defiantly look into it.

The Courtyard at the Oaks has a patio area and also an inside reception hall, Front St. Park has an area for an outdoor ceremony and also a room for an indoor reception. Ummmm, Pelican Point Park in Satellite Beach has a nice reception room but it only fits about 75 people. Good luck with your search!

http://www.gpbsc.org/ is the senior center . So far there the best I found. http://www.gpbsc.org/rent.pdf

    http://www.palmbayflorida.org/parks/city_parks/index.html ( parks )

Goode Park (captains house) has a meeting room .

Also watch out in Melbourne . From what I understand if its over 100 guest you have to pull a permit in Melbourne.

I have heard good things about the courtyard at the oaks ( right by oak 10 theater ). I have heard they work with anyones budget . But I have heard there small.

Also you have the hotels on the beaches but they are really expensive( ones name is DoubleTree but I can't remember the rest ..

Try Florida Institute of Technology, they have botanical gardens where you can get married and then you can have the reception in their grand hall ballroom.

I'm an East Coast Bride as well and to be honest....it took me forever to find a venue around here that I liked!  My big thing was that I too wanted an outdoor ceremony with an indoor/outdoor reception.  We are getting married at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club in Indian Harbour Beach.  But some other places that fit that description that I did find include: The Hilton oceanfront restaurant...they have a nice deck you can get married on fronting the ocean, also The Moorings in Vero Beach (it's a yacht club). There's also the Civic Center on Front Street and I think someone else said Courtyard at the Oaks (which is nice b/c they have chivari chairs and all the linens already included in the price!)  Hope that helps! GL!!
