    yes, the 50% is correct.  A bit steep I know.  If you cancel before 30 days prior to you event, he'll keep 33%.   We liked him cause we felt we got a lot for our money.  But choosing a caterer is huge, you wanna make sure you would be happy with your choice.

    I really don't think he'll be going out of business any time soon.  He does a lot of business with paradise cove.  One of the ladies there was the person who referred me to him.   I honestly can't remember when I booked him.  Probably octoberish for my april wedding.  No sure.

    Definately explore your options.  Any of your vendors you want to make sure you will be happy with them.  One regret I have is not shopping around more when I was vendor shopping.  For some reason I felt very rushed.  Which is why half way through my planning I switched florist!!  (best decision so far)
