Groom to Bridal Show?

Is it appropriate to bring the groom to a bridal show? Planning on attending one on Sept 19. We are in beginning stages of planning, and would like him to come..but i dont want him to feel awkward if he's the only man there?

I only went to one show, but I saw a few guys there...obviously they are WAAAY out numbered by the ladies, but I dont think he will be the only guy there.

Oh yes yes yes it is.  I would totally recommend it.  My husband came with me to all of the bridal shows and at almost every single one, they give away groom only prizes and since there are barely any men there, he has a great chance of winning.  One time, he won a free weekend getaway for two nights with breakfast included!  Also, he gets to meet all of the vendors and try the cake  and food samples and interview the vendors with you.  During the fashion show, my husband brought his Nintendo DS because that part was pretty boring for him and nothing else was going on at that time.  But, he enjoyed winning prizes and eating cake.

I didn't bring mine to any because I know that he would have very little patience for that kind of thing. There will always be other guys there, but I think it depends on your guy and how long you plan on staying!

My FI went.  He wanted to win the raffles and giveaways.  We didn't win but he was SLAMMING down champagne and LOVING the chocolate covered strawberries!!!

My FI went..he loved all of the food, cake and drinks they were giving out. If you go to one of the Perfect Wedding Guide show during the fashion show they had the grooms decorate a table and the table that was decorated the best won a prize. It was so much fun and he actually wants to go to another one!
