Intro and Flower?

Hi everyone!
I usually lurk but finally decided to come out and say hello.  Our wedding is 12-11-11 and we pretty much have the bulk of things booked (venue, caterer, officiant, photographer, etc..)

However, I'm stuck with flowers...we have a relatively small budget and I'm hoping I can get some recommendations for inexpensive florists and/or any places locally that sell flowers wholesale.  I won't attempt to make any of the bouquets so I'll still need someone for that but I'm willing to try to do some of the centerpieces.

    I haven't made any choices myself yet... but one of my friends actually got flowers from Sams Club.  She just got a bulk of roses and made her own designs, but the quality was really good and I think they have packages with arrangements too.

    If I had to recommend anyone it would be Premier Butterfly Events. Im on a tight budget and I bought some silks on sale initially thinking it would be cheaper for me (it isnt). My friend used them for her wedding in March. She is able to get flowers wholesale and she doesnt charge and arm and a leg to create your centerpieces. She has great ideas of things to do to keep the prices down also. The website is www.PremierButterflyEvents.com.

    We are also using Premier Butterfly Events but Christina is our DOC and wedding planner. She is creating our centerpieces as well. I am buying wholesale from Sams.

    If you're looking to save some money on flowers why not use some real flowers, and some fake flowers? If you can go to Michael's and find some really pretty ones, no one will know the difference! I plan on using a little of both just to save some money!
