Average DJ costs?

Hey ladies,
I'm looking at DJ's and I'm noticing the price range to be around $900 or $950. Is that about right for average costs? I was just curious. Junction 88 quoted me $950 and Jay Edwards quoted me the same but I get a $100 discount for being on the knot . If anyone knows of any lower prices please let me know! Thanks ladies!

$900 seems to be the average low for DJ's. Some that I checked out were White Rose (who I booked), Jay Edwards (was going to book but wasn't available my day),  & Tagas.

i went to like 6 weddings or something last year and jay edwards was my favorite dj! lol.

jay all the way he is very popular and if you can book him, do it! you won't regret it.

How do you get the discount through Jay Edwards?  Do you just tell him that you found out about him through The Knot (which I did)?
