AW: Checkity check check

So, I've had a flurry of wedding stuff after not doing much for a few weeks. We finally decided on a caterer and mailed off our deposit today. We chose River City because of the warm, personal service we received and the unbeatable price. My bridesmaids and I went shopping yesterday and we liked dresses that I never really even considered. We are leaning towards this Bill Levkoff dress in violet with an ivory sash.

We bought the guys some tan linen pants for the wedding at an amazing deal too. I got my wedding shoes for $10 including shipping in some weird sale kind of way. I still think it might have been a mistake because they retail for $60. We bought our rings a few months ago, so the last few major things are cake and invites. Sweet! cupcake shop is going to be doing the Groupon soon and selling gift certificates for half price, so we're leaning toward getting a bunch of mini cupcakes and one bigger cake to cut. If we do that, we should be able to do our whole cake situation for about $150. Sticking to tight budgets is tough, but we're making it work so far. Hope everyone else's planning is going well too!

    Good for you!!
Can I ask, where did you get the men's linen pants?
We still need Joe's outfit, and seeing we will be getting married in Jamaica, tan linen pants is exactly what we need.

    Thanks!

The pants are Calvin Klein and came from Men's Warehouse online. They had most sizes, as long as your FI isn't a 34. We has to order a size too big for FI. But, they are $120 pants on clearance for $50 with free shipping. You would just need them hemmed because they are considered in the suit category, which come unhemmed. We had to call and ask about this because we were confused, so I figured I'd save you the trouble. :) Go here.
