Unfortunately so. I don't understand what is going on here that people suddenly aren't allowed to write their honest opinions when that is what this site was designed for.

Unbelievably lame.  Apparently, on TK petty bickering and badgering is allowed, but opinions on vendors are off-limits.  Hmmm...makes me second guess the validity of the site.

When we hired our officiant, he told us that someone had posted a poor review about him on The Knot. He called his contact at TK and they told him not to worry, they would bury it deep so that it wouldn't be easily found. I think that is unacceptable.

I had a very bad experience with my wedding planner and posted a negative review about her on the Wedding Channel, and it got buried after brides that had posted their reviews several months before mine. That is really discouraging. This should be a place to come for the good, bad, and ugly about vendors. Isn't that what it is for? Obviously, having it monitored to a certain extent is fine to ensure competitors are not bashing each other, but come on...It seems like TK is protecting vendors they shouldn't
