bouquet trial,..and error...PIP

Ok, girls, after a few attempts, redo's, change of materials and mishaps I finally came up with my potential bouquet.  This is NOT the final product, just a trial.  I think it turned out great though!  There's no comparison to real flowers, but this one is beautiful and suits my theme and style.  Since I'm on a tight budget and diy-ing almost everything I decided to attempt my bouquet as well.  I was going to just get roses from a grocery store a few days before and let them open up, but I'm afraid I'll get too stressed out down to the wire, and my worst fear is that the roses won't open up properly.  ANYWHO, here's some pics...let me know what you think!

FI was so sweet to hold this for me... :)

Looks good! I might leave the stems longer if you're able, but I like it. :)

**Brit...believe it or not I got them at Walmart!  I looked in Michaels several times and would play around with the flowers in the store, but nothing ever struck me.  The flowers are kind of pricey there and I just couldn't seem to want to pay that much when I could get real ones from a grocery store a few days before and let them open up.  Then one day my FMIL had made a beautiful bouquet to sit in her living room.  I thought the flowers were real until I touched them.  She mentioned she got them at Walmart.  The next time I went in Walmart I decided to take a look.  It looks like Walmart has upgraded their floral department.  There flowers were very full, and I got 7 roses in one bunch for $3.00.  I just snipped them off individual towards the base so that I ended up with 7 individual long stem roses.  I used a total of 14 roses (2 bunches).  They had ALOT of flowers to choose from.  You could just about anything and any color!  Good Luck!!!

Very pretty! It might be even cheaper if you could find your flowers through costco they seem to have a pretty good selection. But it looks great!
