Day of Shoes

Hi,
Anyone have any tips for "tolerating" your wedding shoes the day of?  I'm not used to wearing heels anymore and find that what I thought would be comfy is not.

If you're not used to heels, I say don't wear them! Have your dressed hem for you to be in flats, or really low wedge heels. Otherwise you'll end up taking off your shoes to be comfortable during the reception, and tripping all over your dress. If you want I can let you know how she likes them when she gets them. They look comfortable! lol

I would invest in some Dr. Scholls gels! They are amazing! I wear them with all of my heels.

I wore my shoes duringthe ceremony and pictures and the first dance and during dinner my DOC brought me my flip flops because my feet were killing me! I got platform flip flops about the height of my heels from sears. They were the best $14 I spent!!!!

If your shoes are tight, take them in to a shoe repair shop and ask them to stretch them for you.  It is very inexpensive and may provide some relief.
