I went to a stationary store in the Altamonte Mall and they had a nice selection, but I ended up ordering my invites from RGBcolor on etsy.com. I bought my invites, wedding programs, table cards, escort cards and welcome brochures through her. http://www.etsy.com/shop/rbgcolor
Not the cheapest option but everything is perfect hope this helps :)

I went to an invitation store in seminole town center and every invite I even remotely liked was about $6-$7 each. There are a TON of reputable places online that have lots of great reviews. I agree that Its easier to pick something in person but i think by DIY myself with ones i order online i can save about $300.

I ordered my invitations from where I got my dress, Alfred Angelo, since they were 40% because I bought my dress there.

I ordered invitation samples from Wedding Paper Divas and Rexcraft.  Wedding Paper Divas has some nice stuff.  The quality from Wedding Paper Divas was great.  I would have ordered from there if I didn't get it from Alfred Angelo.  The samples are $1 each, but you will get a really good savings coupon in the mail.  Sign up to be on the Rexcraft and Wedding Paper Divas email list.  You will get savings coupons as well.

I printed my own with a kit from Michaels due to budget constraints.

HOWEVER, I was in Sam Flax looking for sealing wax and their invitations were all BEAUTIFUL.

I am going with wedding paper divas for my invitations....weddingpaperdivas.com.  They have SO many choices to pick from in a variety of price ranges.  We ordered a sample a couple of weeks ago and the invitation we got looks great! A couple of friends who recently got married also used Wedding paper divas and their invitations were great.  You really can customize to fit most (if not all) budgets.

chic customs had great pricing and you don't have to search for what you want, they customize to  your needs and wants.  All you have to do is talk to Amy or Greg and tell them what youwant or show them what you are looking for, and they will do it exactly that way for you! great people and services.

We ordered our photo Save the Dates cards from Minted.com and they came out great!  We were impressed by the quality of the paper.  We have not purchased invitations yet, but we ordered a few samples from Wedding Paper Divas and likewise, think they look good - especially for the price!  They come out to $2-$3 per invite (envelope, response card, & thank you included), as opposed to what you would pay in a traditional brick & mortar stationary store.  However, if you feel more comfortable with a store, I have heard good things about Parchment in Dr. Phillips - though its definitely been a while & I can't vouch for their still being open!  Good Luck!

I'm not sure if you're still looking, but I got the idea from other Knotties to try CardsandPockets.com - I really liked the Envelopments I saw at Sam Flax as well as some Marsupials I saw in a fancy stationary store, but I didn't want to pay $7 - $9 an invite!  I got the same effect with Cards & Pockets for about $3 an invite (they had a 20% off sale that I took advantage of), and I'm extremely happy with the results.  They had great customer service (their Print shop is very responsive and helpful, as are the associates when you call), and the quality of the pocketfolds are really good!  They aren't quite as heavy as the Evelopments or Marsupials, but they definitely don't look cheap (especially considering the huge savings), plus it'll save on postage!  :-)

    Good luck!
