What else is kinda like Dubsdread?

So, I am starting my wedding journey a little bit late... We are hoping to get married in the first two weeks of December, some where in Orlando LOL. The only place we have seen so far is Dubsdread. (Which we LOOVVED) the only thing that made us feel weird is the golfers and the fact the resturant is open and they will use the outside patio even when a wedding is going on. I just don't feel comfortable with that. I mean should I just bite the bullet and say what ever there is people watching and hope they behave? Or is there a place that is kinda like Dubsdread with the wood and the big tree? Please let me know?
Thanks in advance!!

I think Timacuan golf club in Lake Mary is similar to DUbsdread.  The look is similar and it overlooks a golf course with trees.

I wouldn't want to have my wedding in a place where onlookers could just gawk in either.

If you're simply looking for a big tree to get married under, Highland Manor in Apopka has one of the most gorgeous big weeping willow trees I've seen that they do ceremonies under.  They have a huge landscape with pastured horses behind the restaurant.  The reception area is a large ballroom with crystal chandeliers.

Also not too far from Highland Manor is The Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora. We're getting married under the beautiful oaks they have out by the lake. And you would'nt have to deal with golfers watching since it's an inn :). Good luck!

Thank you ladies for all your responses! I still really like Dubsdread so I’m not counting it out just yet. We love that it comes with a DOC and the price is well AMAZING! I’m going to convince my fiancé to go for a drive out to Lake Mary and see how we feel about Timacucaun. From the website its looks really pretty. And I do really like the idea of being married under a big beautiful tree.  We saw the outside of the Lakeside Inn its sooo pretty but its kinda far away. Although if I got married there my wedding pictures would be Killer!! That sunset is really amazing. Gosh so much to think about!! Alright girls I have to calls to make and some convincing of the fiancé to do ;) I really appreciate all your help! I'll keep you posted!

We searched forever and couldn't find anything like Dubsdread. If you book all three spots, which is something like 995 and somewhat negotiable, you don't really run the risk of having random people around. Also, if your wedding is at night, how many people are really golfing? Especially since December is probably going to be pretty cold.

I went to a wedding there several years ago. It was beautiful! I honestly had no idea there was even a restaraunt nearby, so it couldn't have been too distracting.  We would've considered Dubsdread, but the size wasn't going to work for us. It definitely doesn't hurt to go check out other places, of course! Plus the venue hunt is kind of fun in my opinion!:)  Luckily in central florida there are a TON of golf/country club venues, along with just a lot of other neat places to check out.  Good luck to you and have fun!:)
