Thought I'd share with you ladies the finished DIY invitations I put together
Our main color is navy blue with splashes of lavender, silver and gold (the gold is mainly from the existing decor at our venue like the gold chiavari chairs and charges that will go under the plates.) I really wanted to incorporate the gold somehow so I was able to do that with the gold leaves coming out of the flowers.
I got all materials from Michael's. The flowers were glue-gunned on, and then I added the pearl embellishment after. I wanted to add gold to the mix by adding shimmery gold leaves to the flowers (they look more brown in the pictures because my camera sucks but they are definitely more gold toned. I think they emanate a nice rustic/vintage feel which is what I was going for.
