If I remember correctly, it wasn't available for a while. Renovations or something. You can only use Puff 'n Stuff for catering if you book there. Also, think about logistics and parking. Depending on the day and time, getting downtown could be ugly. Also, you would have to either buy a block of parking or ask your guests to pay for parking. Just a few things to consider. Good luck!

I looked at it and LOVED it, but it didn't work for us in relation to our chuch. Puff and Stuff is the exclusive cater.  Ashbosity is correct about parking, there is a lot next to the Ballroom, but you have to pay to "rent" it from the guy who owns it.

When I went to look at it, I really didn't like how it looked on the inside. The outside is absolutely gorgeous though.  The inside of the ballroom has gold tin ceilings with stained glass and dark wood paneling throughout the walls. The carpet is red and gold.  I thought it looked more like an oldfashioned bar than a ballroom.  I think there is a two thousand dollar charge to rent the ballroom out.  Call Puff n Stuff catering to set up an appt to see it.

I believe they will waive the ballroom rental fee if you meet the minimum guest count....not sure what that is, though.

Hmm does anyone know when they were going to do renovations? I'm interested to see what it will look like after?

I don't think they are doing renovations at all. Where did you hear this?

The pictures I saw recently looked nice... at least I thought so. :) Take a look at Tabitha McCausland's blog (www.ultimateimageweddingsblog.com) - she has some pics from a wedding she photographed there not very long ago.

I am getting married there in November, so i don't have a "review" on the location yet. However, I LOOOOVED it when I walked in. Puff N' Stuff has been absolutley amazing with thier service. Constant emails back and forth to them, and they have been so accomodating to our revisions after revisions to our catering menu. We have already gone for our tasting, and the food blew us away!!
You do have to rent the lot next to the ballroom if you want to take care of that for your guests, but the guy is very, very accomodating and will actually let you rent only half of it out, if you don't think you will need the whole thing.
I have anjoyed my experience with them so far and can't wait to see everything come into play in November!!
