My husband and I just came back from a week at Sandals Grande St. Lucian. It was amazing! We had a swim-up room with concierge service and I just wanted people to know, that if you are considering booking a room with concierge service, DO IT! It was the greatest thing we did and it helped to make our trip SO much better! From the minute we got off the airport shuttle, we were taken directly to the concierge suite for a cocktail while our bags were taken care of and we were being check-in. No standing in line or waiting around. We also got a lot of extras because we were in a concierge level suite, including:
-Use of a cabana on the beach where we were waited on
-24hr room service,
-A mini fridge with drinks that was restocked daily, and bottles of champagne, wine, or mixed drinks delivered to our room anytime we want
-Private cocktail party where prizes were given away
-All dinner reservations, and tours booked for us
-20% off at one of the boutiques at the resort, if you present your weekly planner (you set this up with the concierge when you arrive)
-A hike up one of the mountains followed by a sunset booze cruise! (For free, and this type of tour can be a little pricey)
ALL of these were included. These things are also offered to guests with butler suites. We also got a $250 voucher from the spa which was also totally amazing. I'm not sure if this was because of the concierge level, or if it was a special when we booked our reservations. If you get a concierge room, you should really take advantage of everything they offer, it is SO worth it!! I just thought everyone should know about it. We definitely got more bang for our buck.
