Transfer Limos

I'm really annoyed that I've called a few companies and they are all quoting me between 125 and 150 for a one way ride from his house to the church.  It would be a 45 min drive max.  I think thats ridiculous.  The problem is they keep asking me what the occasion is and I'm a terrible liar and I think they double the price for weddings.  Do you guys know of some way they could get to the church without paying an arm and a leg?  It doesn't need to be fancy but it absolutely must be on time.

my old boss at a wedding boutique told me limo companies charge about twice as much for weddings. If you tell them it is a for a formal event the vendor is not the one driving you and the driver has no idea about the  difference.  Though it is being dishonest.

I am using Town Car Service of Orlando for the transfer from the reception to our hotel (from downtown WP to downtown Orlando). We got a regular escalade for $45. It is WAY under all the prices we found. They only have a few different cars, but it is worth a call to them. They are cheaper because they are a town car service instead of your traditional limo company (like they don't have the H2 limo etc) so they aren't a big wedding vendor.

Tell them its for a birthday or something non-wedding related. Then a few days later when you call about a wedding call them out on it. "I called last week regarding a birthday and was quoted $____ for the same time and day" Frankly it shouldn't matter what the event is.

If you're a terrible liar, try this exchange:
    "Whats the event?"
    "Why would that matter?"
