Orlando Mansions/estates

Hello everyone, just wanted to know if anyone is having or has been to a wedding ceremony/reception at an estate house or mansion in the Orlando area. How did you go about finding and securing the place?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi!  I don't think it qualifies as a "mansion" but I am getting married at Casa Feliz and I truly think it is the best venue in the area.  It's an old Spanish farmhouse and it is so beautiful it's ridiculous.  I knew right away we had to be married there.  It holds up to 120 so if you can keep your count down, I totally recommend it!

    Good Luck!

There are a few historic homes that are in the Orlando are that do weddings. Generally you need a small guest list.  If you are looking for a private home, that is going to be harder unless you have a family friend or something that offers their home to you.

    Thanks everyone for your responses!

Choco9, I looked into Casa Feliz but saw that for danicing we would have to be inside and then if we had an outdoor reception then guests would still be outside during dancing. How are you working around that issue? Thanks :)

Have you looked into The Courtyard at Lake Lucerene.  It's a B&B downtown, outside dancing/bar with eating inside.  Beautiful hisoric homes!
