tuxedo vs. suit

Hi Fellow Brides,

      My FH is deciding between wearing a suit or a tuxedo for our wedding in November.  For the past 10 months he has said that he wanted to wear a suit because he thinks it looks more modern, but now he is leaning towards renting a tuxedo because it would be easier and less expensive.  I genuinely don't have a preference between the two--i just want him to handle it sooner rather than later.

Our wedding is at 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday night at a hotel.  What do you think?  Also, if you do suggest a tuxedo, where would you suggest we look? Knowing him, it would have to look well-tailored and upscale, even as a rental.

    My husband and I decided on suits and the main reason was that rental tuxes just did not fit the same as a tailored suit. When my husband tried on the rental tux it kind of seemed like he was wearing his dads hand me down. I know on some men they look great, but it just wasn't right for us.

    FI is wearing a "modern" tux and his BM is wearing a suit. Kind of weird, but the BM and his wife just had a baby so money was tight for them. We went to MensWearhouse and got his tux rental. We got a really good deal on it too.
