Florist and Cake?

Have any of you ladies heard anything about Jonathan's Flowers or Anna Cakes? I had a consult today with Jonathan and he seems really great! But wanted some feedback before I sign any contract.

I also have a tasting tonight with Anna. I've heard great things about her through vendors but I wanted to know first hand through real brides is any of you are or have used her.

I'll be honest, I've heard some pretty ehhhh reviews on Jonathan, but don't have any personal experiences myself. Not sure about Anna Cakes. I'm sure others will know more. Good luck!

We booked Anna!! Shes great. Loved her when we met her, and her portfolio was nice. She had lots of cool suggestions, so I guess she really knows her stuff. Our cake for like...75 ppl was around $250.

We tried to book Anna but she was booked on our date.  We used it's Tasty Too and we LOVED it!

I tried Anna, but decided to go with Amanda's Cakery ( http://amandascakeryonline.com/ ). Amanda's cakes were awesome and she was more then willing to bake around my allergies at a reasonable price. She's in Winter Garden, so it might be a little far from where your at, but she was super flexible with scheduling our tasting. Good Luck and have fun

DO NOT use Jonathan! He is really bad. I used Anna Cakes. She is really nice and her cake is great but she is really horrible at responding to emails, texts and phone calls. I had a very difficult time trying to finalize the contract after I already paid her the deposit to hold the date. On the day of the cake was perfect and very, very tasty. She is kind of expensive but totally worth it if you can handle the communication problems.

We already booked Anna Cakes --we had our cake tasting last night and it went very well! she is great and her cakes/flavors tasted amazing!

As for Jonathan's I explained my feelings about him to my planner (who happened to use him for her own wedding) because I saw the bad reviews online and on here. And she said despite him having done a great job on her wedding she had many unsatisfied brides who had used Jonathan and suggested I continue looking before I commit. So i am on the look again for a florist who is willing to work with my very small budget!

You should look into Vicki from Peddles.  That is who we are using.  She has great ideas and will work with any budget.
