venue

How did you guys go about finding a venue? Im on the east coast in Melbourne, and by searching online im not really finding anything besides 2 of the big hotels. Besides TK was there a good website you used to help find and filter out venues. I know we are looking at a bigger wedding 150-200 (still working out a list) so i dont want to waste my time looking at places that i know are too small :(

Any help would be great.

The link below is the one I used and then went to each city/county to see if they had any rental venues.  Good luck!

I ditto Perfect wedding guide. I actually went to visit a local vendor and they had it on display. That's how I found my venue.

I got an issue of Knot Florida and it has tons of wedding venues.  I also Googled Country Club, Orlando and a lot popped up that way.  Good Luck!!

I am in Melbourne also. We decided to have our wedding & reception at The Tides b/c they allow 250 guests. The room is pretty big, but it is a blank canvas. I hope this helps. ps I've been looking for other Melbourne brides so that we can discuss vendors.
