Hello_

My family will be taking a vacation to disney world soon and I wanted to have some photos taken at our resort while we are there.  Can anyone suggest a photographer?

You have to get Disney's permission to do that if you are using a professional photographer.  If they see someone walking around with professional cameras and the like, they may stop you and ask you to leave.  They are very anal about these kinds of things.  They also have their own photographers who are very expensive and I believe you can book them through the wedding pavillion people.  

What I would suggest to you is finding a photographer who won't bring a whole lot with them and blends in and then insist that photography is just a hobby and you are not paying her for the photo shoot, you are just guests at the hotel.  

They are afraid of you taking pictures of their iconic stuff and then using it in your own advertisements, etc.  

I think Rhodes Studios and Sunshine Photographics are good but I'm not sure if either is in your price range.

Our TTD photographer does children and family portraits -- her work is AMAZING and I can't wait to have kids so I can keep her on retainer

Her website is www.rebelbellephotography.com -- she's got galleries dedicated to maternity, kids, and portraits. Bonus: she's shot at Disney resorts before -- she did a maternity session there in May '09. Her blog has a lot more pictures than her website, I think, and they're categorized by more specific tags.
