Day of Coordinator

Hey ladies! I know this question has been beaten to death, but when I tried to search for it the knot decided to keep giving me results EVERY board, not just CFL (still have not figured out that lovely phenomenon) so I'll ask it again. Can anyone recommend a good day of coordinator who won't break the bank? I really have all of the planning done - I just want someone who will deal with vendors/set-up/fix problems for me, instead of having to be stressed about it myself. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I am trying to set up a consultation with Charisma Moran this week, but have had some communication issues. I have a consultation with Kristy Rapp on Wednesday and have read awesome reviews about her. Charisma quoted me $400 and Kristy gave me some discounts to bring me to $350. Both include rehearsals. Be sure to mention the Knot to both of them because they both gave me discounts for that. Others I considered but nixed: I Do Party Planners- never returned emails, Nicole Squared- about 3 weeks after I contacted them, quoted me $1500 for DOC!!! Ashlie Hampton's name keeps coming up, but I think she's around that $1500 range too (if she's offering $300 off her DOC package, I know I can't afford her). I will let you know what I decide/impressions from meetings in a PM if you want. I think you and I are kind of close to the same budget and using some of the same vendors. I also told the ladies that I need the bare bones package because all my vendors are booked, so there's no searching or negotiation needed. I just need someone to run the rehearsal, maybe make a floor plan and a timeline and make sure nothing goes terribly wrong on the day of.

*EDIT* I now have consultations with both Kristy and Charisma on Wednesday.

Try Just Marry.  Justmarry.com  I used their full service package but I know they are included as day of at a lot of the hotels in Orlando.

I've talked to Ashley from Weddings in the City and her DOC package is $950 and Sonya from Busy Brides is about the same at $900. Ashley does offer discounts when you hire preferred vendors, there are like 3+ in each category and most are the ones who are popular with you all as well.

Thanks girls!! Ash I would LOVE it if you PMed me about the meetings!!! Thank you! Good luck with them both. We definitely have similar weddings I think so it should give me a good idea.

Amanda- Both Charisma and Kristy were great. I would say meet with both and decide which is a better personality match for you. Both seemed to have things pretty together and their prices were good too. Don't forget to mention you found them through the Knot if you set up consultations. It kind of depends on what you have done and how much help you need too. Good luck!

I am using An Affair to Remember.  They are awesome and well worth their price.
