Great poll!  Not sure if it is my favorite, but one thing that stood out to me recently at my cousin's wedding were the favors.  She made a "Soundtrack" for the wedding with songs that were played at the reception and the CDs were passed out at the end.  It was super cute.

aww that IS nice. I went to a wedding a long time ago that did that. I thought it was a sweet idea too. When I was younger I was a flower girl (the oldest of many) & I thought it was cool that instead of sprinkling flowers down the aisles (there were 5 shorter aisles instead of 1 long one), we handed out long-stemmed roses (minus the thorns) to all the women present. Maybe not my favorite detail of all time. But definitely very cute. :)

In my whole life I've only been to 2 weddings so I don't have much to go off of. Usually I'm always fascinated by the cake though. Just the details that goes into them. The next thing I tend to look at is the centerpieces lol.

Music! I think it's so important to put on a good party and nothing helps a party like a band.  That was one of the splurges that we had.

I went to a wedding in Sweden once and they had this cool tradition that actually turned out very nicely - all the guests had candles at their tables, they turned down the lights and we lit the candles and then passed them up in a line to the couple  at the head table.  It was so romantic, with this stream of lights heading up to the front.  the bride and groom placed all the candles in front of them and there was this beautiful glow on the bride form the candles.   I think it symbolizes good wishes for the couple - don't completely remember but it was so memorable and romantic.  I'm sure it was 10x some fire hazard but it turned out well.
