Need Filipino Traditions!

Hello Pinoys!

We are having an Indian-Filipino wedding.  We've decided to take customs and traditions from both cultures and combining them for the ceremony and reception.  Both families are even going to wear traditional barong, saya, and sarees.  It looks like we're doing more Indian traditions though so I would love suggestions for some Filipino traditions.

    Hello.  We are not having sponsors or the candle but we are incorporating the coins, veil and chord into the ceremony.

    MyBarong.com has a great FAQ on filipino wedding traditions...check out their website and goto the wedding tab...they also have a lot of items you can purchase for the filipino traditions...

    There's also the traditional Filipino dancing during the reception.  Perhaps you can also incorporate Filipino food at the reception?  Your favourite Filipino desserts?
