JW Marriott Cancun

I am using Marriott points for our honeymoon in June and I was wondering if anyone has been to or stayed at the JW Marriott in Cancun.  (I was originally debating between the Ritz Carlton and JW, but I think the JW is more our style.)  I can't decide whether the get just the oceanview room or upgrade to the premium oceanview room. Both have balconies.

    i dont think it matters really.  it's a gorgeous hotel. i've not stayed there but go to the restaurants next door at the marriott (great thai, japanese and sports bar) adn then walk through to the JW to go to the piano bar in the lobby. it's a lovely place.

    if you can though-why not upgrade  LOL
