We're thinking about going here for our honeymoon....Our wedding is in January but I'll actually be starting a new semester at school so we are taking our honeymoon a couple months later during spring break at the end of March.  Has anyone ever been to Jamaica???

We've been as well. It was nice - we stayed at a Beaches resort which is the sister to Sandals. When we went off property, we didn't feel very safe - but since Sandal's now has partnered with a tour company, it may not be that bad. If you don't plan to stay at an all inclusive, I would consider going somewhere else.

I've been to Jamaica several times and loved it each time. You should stay at an all inclusive, it's by far the best bargin.Like many other travel destinations, it isn't safe to walk around outside of the resort alone. Check out the Couples resorts as well as Sandals, they are really great all inclusive adults only resorts. Always travel with a tour guide or part of a group. People are so friendly and nice, beaches are beautiful and the sun is bright!

My fi and I booked our March honeymoon to Sandals Grande Ochos Rios in Jamaica.  I've never been there, but I've read great reviews about it on trip advisor.  We paid a little bit extra to have our own butler, that we we'll always have transportation.  OP, you should check out all inclusive resorts such as sandals, you can get a really great deal.

We went to Sandals Ochos Rios. It was very nice. Not 5 star but we had a good time. For my honeymoon I would suggest staying at one of the other more upscale Sandals or a couples resort.
