all inclusive resorts in aruba

Anyone know of any nice all inclusive resorts in aruba?!?!!?

Re: all inclusive resorts in aruba

  • We are staying at the Divi/Tamarijn aruba all inclusive.  Its a couple of resorts all in one.  We are staying at the Tamrijn because all of the rooms are on the beach and Trip advisor says the beach is better.  You get access to all of the restaurants on the property and unlimited windsurfing and certain activities.  They are actually running a special right now and rooms are 30% off during certain dates.   The rest of the resorts we looked at had an all inclusive package but they were just normal hotels.  We like the idea of having like 10 restuarants and a million different bars and pools to choose from. I just honeymooned in Aruba at the RIU. The Tamrijn doesnt even compare, you will see on the ride in how un-extravagent it is. People we met said they closed places down early and never had the beer/water stocked in their rooms without calling. We did the RIU and it was probably the nicest hotel there. We went up and down the strip gambling, and nothing came close to the RIU. Its gorgeous. Just be sure to ask for a suite, the room in apartment sized and in the new building.
  • We did the RIU, it was a wonderful place and honeymoon spot hotel in Aruba.
  • We stayed at the Renaissance. It was located in the capital city not near the rest of the hotels so there wasn't a ton of restaurants and bars close by however, it had it's own island with private beaches. It was pretty low key and I had heard that the beaches close the other resorts were always crowded and it could be difficult to find chairs. Depends on what you want. It's an easy taxi ride to the High Rise area which is where most of the hotels, restaurants, and clubs are. I also heard great things about the Riu as well. It's in all the action and it's a beautiful hotel.

  • If you have the budget, I would recommend not doing an all-inclusive in Aruba.  There were a lot of interesting and good restaurants that I am glad we had the chance to go to.

That said, food and alcohol is a bit pricey on Aruba, but I would recommend finding a way to do a couple of special dinners out to see the island.
