St. Lucia???

We're looking at going to St. Lucia for our honeymoon in July. Although many of the postings are very helpful I'm wondering which is the best resort to stay at? Sandals? or another resort on the island?

Also, has anyone been there since the storm?  I don't want to be disappointed on my HM as this is the first vacations I've been on other than to Florida.

We stayed at Sandals Regency.

We stayed at the Regency and the Grande. Both were great, but if we go back, we'd stay at the Grande again. It's a little less party-like than the Regency. If you go, definitely go on the zip-lining tour!

Check out TI Kaye! Its a smaller resort but this place was amazing! It might not give you the same experience as Sandals but it depends on what you are looking for. I wasn't sure what to expect as I typically tend to lean towards larger resorts but I was not disappointed!

We just gat back a little over a week ago and I was worried about being disappointed because of the hurricane damage but it really didn't affect out trip. By July, I bet you wouldn't even know there had been a hurricane.
