    I would suggest a Hill country honeymoon.

    There are so many nice places to stay and visit in the Hill country, so you can choose one place or travel around an hour or two from place to place.  San Antonio is an amazing city with the romantic riverwalk, awesome restaurants, museums, historic sites, etc.  It's a lot of fun, and there's some great hotels, my favorite being the Westin on the riverwalk.  Only about an hour away is New Braunfels with Schlitterbahn waterpark, the river for tubing, and cute little shops and bed and breakfasts.  Austin is only about an hour from there with awesome nightlife, music, and a lake nearby.

    I know there's some resort style hotels in the area too.
