Ok....so I am/was totally stoked about this. At the last wedding expo we won the grand prize of a 3 day Bahamas cruise.
However, I've now heard these horror stories about these things being timeshare traps and we'll have to waste time listening to timeshare shpeels. I'm waiting on the confirmation letter from the travel agent and then we can meet with them next week to talk details.
Does this happen often? Should be concerned? I dont see anything anywhere on the travel agency's website about timeshares...but I'm not sure if they post that kind of stuff either.
Advice?
