Jamaica Sandals - Royal Caribbean or Grande Riviera???

Finally narrowed down our honeymoon to a Sandals in Jamaica. We are thinking Royal Caribbean or Grande Riviera. Both look amazing, so having a hard time chosing! Any one recommend one over the other??? TIA

I haven't been to either of them.  We went to Sandals Negril a couple years ago.  It was okay, nothing spectacular.  I will say though that Jamaica is the only place we've ever been that we didn't leave the resort as we weren't sure it was totally safe.

One of my coworkers just got back and spent time at Grande Riviera and Montego Bay and preferred Montego Bay. 
Biggest difference is if you go with Royal Caribbean you'll have privilleges at Montego Bay and Carlyle but if you do Grande Riviera you don't have privilleges at Royal Plantation.  Also, Royal Caribbean is about 20 minutes from the MBJ airport and Grande is about an hour and a half. 

So, if it was me I would pick Grande Riviera in a concierge or butler suite.

We stayed at Grande Riviera last summer, while it was still under construction.  We really enjoyed it because it was so tucked away.  (We spent our last 3 nights at Royal Plantation-- our Travel Agent recommended doing that for an extra dose of pampering at the end.)
The service at Grande Riviera was probably the best we've had at any resort outside of Royal Plantation.  The resort itself is very nice as long as you stay beach side.  (The pool side is really nice as well, but it is pretty far from the beach.  The resort has main road running through it, so you have to take a shuttle between the 2 sides.)  I can send you our TripAdvisor review if you are interested- just PM me.  Good luck!
